We are a grassroots, not-for-profit organization registered
under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. Our mission
is to create an environment where passion grows, dreams take
root, and lives are transformed.
We provide a safe, welcoming space for women, seniors, and
families to connect, learn, and thrive. Through social,
educational, and cultural programs, we promote empowerment,
inclusion, and equality for all members of our
community—regardless of age, race, culture, or background.

Our Volunteers
At Women First Community, we believe in building stronger, more
socially stable communities by recognizing every individual’s unique
potential. Our programs are designed to relieve loneliness and
isolation, improve mobility and wellness for seniors, and support
women in achieving independence, leadership, and financial
freedom.
We advocate for women’s human rights as enshrined in the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination
Against Women (CEDAW). We work toward eliminating violence against women and ensuring
that gender equality and dignity are at the heart of social,
cultural, and economic life.
Our community initiatives extend beyond borders. We engage in
educational outreach on public health and poverty relief, offering
counseling, food aid, and essential resources to those in need.
Through our Emergency Food Security Program, we rescue and
distribute food to low-income families, seniors, single mothers, and
newcomers, helping combat food insecurity across the Greater Toronto
Area.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: to empower
individuals, strengthen families, and create opportunities that
transform lives. Whether through mentorship, life-skills workshops,
or advocacy, Women First Community stands as a beacon of hope,
equality, and compassion.
